Wet Weather Returning Thursday Night to the Region

Brockville – The Wet Weather will return on Thursday night according to a special weather statement issued by Environment Canada.

The statement is for Brockville – Leeds & Grenville, Smiths Falls – Lanark, Morrisburg – Cornwall, Kingston and Ottawa.

Wet weather to return Thursday night and persist into the weekend. With the ground already saturated, there is the potential for local flooding.

Total rainfall amounts may approach 50 mm in some locales before the rain tapers to showers on the weekend.

Environment Canada will monitor this situation and issue further statements or warnings as the event draws closer.
