Brockville – Walk A Mile in Her Shoes, the Men’s March to end violence against women in support of the Leeds-Grenville Interval House was held on Saturday in Downtown Brockville.
The event, in it’s second year was held during the DBIA’s Annual Street Eats. It saw many men, women and kids walk down King Street many in red high heels from the Old Oak Tree to Perth Street and back lead by Brockville Police Chief Scott Fraser.
Leeds and Grenville Interval House provides emergency shelter, outreach counseling and transitional support for abused women and their children throughout the Leeds & Grenville area.
