Front of Yonge – The Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) and the Office of the Regional Coroner continue to investigate after the discovery of three bodies at a home near Mallorytown.
On October 11, 2019, members of the OPP Leeds County Detachment discovered three deceased people at a home near Mallorytown following a call for service at a home on County Road-5 in Front of Yonge Township.
Police believe the deceased are related, but advanced forensic testing by the Regional Coroner’s Office is required to confirm the identities and the causes of death.
The investigation remains ongoing with officers of the OPP Leeds County Detachment, Leeds County Crime Unit and the OPP Forensic Identification Services Unit, under the direction of Detective Inspector Daniel Nadeau of the OPP Criminal Investigation Branch.
The OPP wants to assure residents in the area that there is no threat to public safety.
