Brockville – The Upper Canada District School Board will celebrate Orange Shirt Day on Friday, September 29th, 2017. Staff and students at schools and workplaces across the Board are encouraged to wear an orange shirt or other attire to remember those who suffered under Canada’s residential school system and to mark the need for reconciliation and healing. The day has become an opportunity to keep alive the discussion on all aspects of residential schools.
