Brockville – It is always exciting to announce a new business opening in the downtown core; today Moose McGuire’s officially opens their doors to the public. Doors open at 11am and they are open till late each day this week. (*limited menu)

Launching as a family run business in Ottawa, the new waterfront venue marks the opening of the third Moose McGuire’s Pub & Grill. Located on the second floor of 6 Broad St., the lively enterprise touts itself as “Part pub. Part restaurant. All good times!”

When proprietor Dan Butler created the Moose McGuire’s concept, he was intent on crafting the next great Canadian neighborhood pub. “What makes us unique is that we encourage a spirited bar atmosphere and compliment it with a from-scratch kitchen. A farm-to-table approach with our food and focus on personable and personalized service.”

A few of the Moose’s most popular items include: a half-pound sirloin BBQ burger, duck wings, pickled beet salad, lobster and bacon gnocchi, and their beer-battered haddock filet fish and chips. The food isn’t the only thing that sets the Moose apart. Robert Van Velthuizen bar manager at the new Brockville location says, “You’re only a stranger once at Moose McGuire’s. Our hospitality always attitude makes everyone feel right at home.”

If you’re looking to host an event, the Moose has you covered. In addition to their gastropub offerings, they offer a variety of menus in a variety of settings. From casual affairs on the patios to fine-dining soirees in the water-facing events room, the Moose is one of the most dynamic venues in Brockville.
