This new, immersive, employment skills program offers youth ages 15-30 the chance to do just that. They learn to take action, steer their future, and increase awareness about affordable housing options.
The program is for the youth who love hands-on projects, are interested in trades, and want to help out their community. A program were the youth learn while they earn by building a tiny house.
The new tiny house was built for Habitat For Humanity for a resident in Athens.
The participants learned entrepreneurship, and employment skills while preparing for the build of the tiny home. They covered topics like how to prepare for a job interview, assertive communication, and resume writing. They also learned industry accredited skills training and safety certifications.
The next ‘We Are The Change’ program begins April 26th.
