Brockville – On Wednesday, July 5, The Commonwell Mutual Insurance Group through their We C.A.R.E. (Create a Ripple Effect) Program, donated $25,000 to Community and Primary Health Care (CPHC), to go towards their many programs.

Those programs include Adult Day Program, Meals on Wheels, Foot Care, Respite and Caregiver support, to name a few. Programs that support seniors staying in their homes, for as long as possible. Besides CPHC, the We C.A.R.E. also donated to Rural Ottawa South Support Services (ROSSS) and the Community Care Kawartha Lakes.

The telephone call from The Commonwell Mutual Insurance Group manager Miki Goodwin Paczek was a total surprise for Community and Primary Health Care staff.

Community and Primary Health Care (CPHC) is a registered charitable organization dedicated to improving the lives of seniors and their families. CPHC provides support to the communities in which they serve to improve health, safety and happiness.

CPHC serves Lanark, Leeds and Grenville and Kingston. As a branch of the Victoria Order of Nurses (VON), CPHC first began serving the seniors of Brockville in 1913. The We C.A.R.E donation will be used to enhance and continue services for seniors.
