In honour of St. Lawrence College’s (SLC) 50th, each campus has invited alumni, retirees, staff and their families for a full day of celebrations on each campus. The events kick off this weekend on the Kingston campus, Saturday, June 24, July 8 in Cornwall, and July 15 in Brockville.
Highlights on all three campuses include:
Rise and Shine Morning Stretch. 9am-10:30am
A rejuvenating morning of light yoga and stretching on the campus grounds.
Reunions: Many class and program reunions are happening within Alumni Days. Alumni Hall is a meeting place to connect with your former classmates, share messages and leave your mark.
SLC Alumni Family BBQ and Entertainment 11am-4pm
Join fellow alumni and their families as we celebrate 50 years of memories. With an inflatable midway, magician, 3D chalk artist, classic car show, “SLC Sweethearts” booth and music from the past 50 years, we have something for all ages. Come back to SLC and reflect on past years, catch up with former classmates and faculty and enjoy activities on campus. Peer back at SLC’s history with a visit to our “Blast from the Past” Pop-Up Museum, listen to great music from the past 50 years and tour the campus to see the changes that have taken place on your old stomping grounds.
Outdoor Pub & Concert 7pm-11pm
The outdoor concert features Nashville recording artist, singer-songwriter, Kyle Dunn (Mechanical Engineering grad 2010) and his band, most who are also SLC alumni, and JJ & The Pillars (featuring JJ Thompson-Music Theatre grad 2011). The evening caps off with karaoke of the songs from grad years.
