Spencerville – On Saturday, August 12th, the Spencerville Mill & Museum is hosting it’s 2nd annual Vintage Carnival – a retro-inspired carnival designed by our summer students for children and families.
This retro Carnival for families runs from 12:00pm to 4:00pm and is created by the Mill’s summer students.
It will include, live music, vintage games, face painting, a BBQ, local vendors and the Great Spencerville Sack Race!!
Admission is $5 per person, maximum $25 for families.
The Spencerville Mill is the only remaining flour and grist mill on the South Nation River and has been a hub of the community since it was built in 1864.
The aim of this event is to promote our museum and local heritage as well as to inspire greater community support and well-being.
All the profits of this event go to the Spencerville Mill Foundation, which is a non-for-profit charity, and will cover the costs of running the Mill.
