Special Weather Statement Issued For Brockville, Leeds-Grenville, Morrisburg & Dundas

Significant snowfall likely beginning Monday night and continuing Tuesday

Ottawa – Environment Canada has issued a Special Weather Statement for Brockville, Leeds-Grenville, Morrisburg, Dundas and Ottawa.

Snow is expected to develop Monday night across much of Southern Ontario, possibly becoming heavy at times over Eastern Ontario. The snow may be mixed with ice pellets. Snow and ice pellet amounts up to 15 centimetres are expected by the time it winds down Tuesday night.

Snowfall warnings may be required for Eastern Ontario as the snowfall forecast becomes more certain.

Travellers should be aware of accumulating snow and lower visibility Monday night and Tuesday.
