BROCKVILLE – Ontario’s Government for the People has announced that three telephone town halls will be held for Eastern Ontario residents as part of the Ministry of Education’s Curriculum Consultation process.
The telephone town halls will take place on the following dates:
- Tuesday, October 30 from noon-1:30 p.m.
- Friday, November 16 from noon-1:30 p.m.
- Thursday, November 22 from 6:30-8 p.m.

“This is the largest education consultation in Ontario’s history and I encourage everyone to take part by registering for a telephone town hall, completing the online survey or by making a submission through our fortheparents.ca website,” said Leeds-Grenville-Thousand Islands and Rideau Lakes MPP Steve Clark.
Clark said any constituents who need assistance taking part in the consultation process, which is seeking feedback on seven key areas, can contact his office at 613-342-9522 or by email at firstname.lastname@example.org.
“Whether it’s providing feedback on the Health and Physical Education curriculum, cellphones in the classroom, improving performance in math, science and technology or any other area, I want to ensure that every parent, student, educator and citizen with an interest has the opportunity to have their voice heard,” said Clark.
The consultation is open until December 15.
