Edwardsburgh-Cardinal – Citizens Against the ED-19 Dump (CAD), a not-for-profit group opposed to the opening or sale of an undeveloped dump site, known as ED-19, to host Recycle Drive on Saturday May 6th, to raise funds for their cause.
On Saturday May 6th, 2017 residents are encouraged to drop off their beer, liquor and wine bottles, as well as used car batteries at three pickup locations between the hours of 10 AM – 3PM:
- Spencerville Car Pool Lot (21 at highway)
- Cardinal Legion
- Angelo’s Truck Stop
Pick up is also available, by calling 1-877-620-7789 ext. 5.
All proceeds of the Recycle Drive will go towards incidental costs related to challenging the sale and development of the proposed Mega Dump, known as ED-19.
