Seeley’s Bay – In less than two weeks, Frost Fest returns to Seeley’s Bay celebrating 26 years!
A full weekend of family friendly fun is planned for this much anticipated annual event. Regardless of the snow, Frost Fest takes place from January 31st until February 2nd and promises an old-fashioned Canadian Winter celebration complete with wagon rides, snowman building/lawn-art contest, fireworks, silent auction, craft and vendor sale, Saturday night entertainment, a chill cook-off, indoor and outdoor children’s activities – fun for the whole family!
The fun kicks off Friday night with free hot dogs and hot chocolate, skating on the Bay and fireworks. Of course, the Market Place, Community Exhibits and Silent Auction will be running on Saturday in the Firehall/Community Centre. Located in the main entrance is our Penguin Centre for all inquiries.
And, there is a lot of musical entertainment happening as well. Frost Fest is featuring the Darren Johnson Classic Country Dance on Saturday night and the First Nation Interactive Dance Event at Sunday. Rounding out the weekend is the Community Sponsored Frost Fest Awards/Roast Beef dinner which will be served at 5 pm on Sunday.
Be sure to attend these events and enjoy a memorable Frost Fest experience. Advance ticket sales are available where applicable.
All of these events are also listed on the Frost Fest Events Calendar at www.seeleysbayfrostfest.ca. The website provides a consolidated list of ALL events taking place during the festival weekend.
