Winchester – Every fall, there are a few extra smiles in Winchester, Long Sault and Morrisburg – thanks to the Tim Hortons Smile Cookie Campaign. In fact, more than 10,000 of them this year alone!
The campaign took place across Canada in September. In the four local stores, $10,451 was raised, with the money going to the Foundation’s Family Care Fund.
Tim Hortons Owner Robert St. Denis says it’s an annual tradition: “It’s great that the community still supports the Smile Cookie program. The hospital is very important to the whole community and that’s why we choose to direct our donations there. We are looking forward to next year!”
“Since 2006, the local campaign has raised $110,510 for WDMH,” notes Kristen Casselman, the Foundation’s Managing Director. “We are so thankful to Robert and Denise St. Denis and their staff – and to everyone who bought a cookie!”
The Family Care Fund does just that – supports families just like yours. Donations to the Family Care Fund will\ be used where your gift is needed most: to buy new medical equipment, upgrade existing equipment or meet other urgent needs at WDMH. We work with our donors to help ensure compassionate, excellent health care.
