Brockville – Several beaches within Lanark and Leeds-Grenville have tested for unacceptable levels of bacteria and the Health Unit is saying the water at those locations are not recommended for swimming.
The Health Unit has issued a Yellow CAUTION – The water is not recommended for swimming. The latest bacterial tests of the water indicated unacceptable levels of bacteria.
The beaches affected include:
Brockville – St. Lawrence Park
Elizabethtown – Lyn Valley Park
Prescott – Kelly’s Beach
Gananoque – Joel Stone Beach
Kitley – Bellamy Park
Lanark Highlands – Dalhousie Lake
Lanark Highlands – Lanark Beach
Mississippi Mills – Almonte Beach
Mississippi Mills – Pakenham Beach
Rideau Lakes – South Crosby (Sand Lake) Beach
Smiths Falls – Junior
Smiths Falls – Senior
