Brockville – Paramedics are being commended by police for their timely response and action at the scene after reports of a shooting in the city’s north end on Friday night.
The Brockville Police responded to reports of a shooting at a Cartier Court apartment building around 7:30 p.m. Officers arrived as a male was being attended to by paramedics. He has been transported to a local hospital and treated for his injuries that have been described as nonlife threatening.
A 24-year-old male has been charged with numerous firearms related offences. He was held for bail and remanded until May 22.
