OPP Say Four Bodies Recovered in North Grenville House Fire

North Grenville – Four bodies have been recovered from the scene of a house fire in North Grenville.

On January 10, 2021 at 6:15 p.m., officers from Grenville County Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) were called to assist members of the North Grenville Fire Service, with a fully engulfed, residential fire on Stone Road in the Oxford Mills Township.

Investigators have recovered the remains of four people. While their identities have not yet been confirmed by the Regional Coroner’s Office, family members have been notified.

The incident remains under investigation by the Office of the Fire Marshal and the Coroner’s Office, with the assistance of Grenville OPP.
