OPP Remind Augusta Township Residents to Keep Their Vehicles Locked

Augusta Twps. – Since the beginning of September, Grenville County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) members saw reports of approximately 17 vehicles being entered into in the area of County Road 26 and County Road 15 in the Township of Augusta.

Acting Inspector Nancy Graves is “asking community members to be more vigilant and remove the opportunity for individuals to commit this type of crime. We are urging you to not make things easy for them by removing your valuable possessions, parking in well-lit areas and locking your doors”.

Increased patrols will continue in the area and residents are asked to report any suspicious vehicles or persons.
