Provincial health experts say they expect COVID-19 could kill 3,000 to 15,000 people in the province over the course of the pandemic, the ramifications of which could last up to two years.
Toronto – According to the models presented today, we could see by the end of April, 80K cases and 1.6k deaths with current measures.
However, should stricter measures be put in place these numbers can decrease drastically (12.5K cases and 200 deaths).
It is also projected that #COVID19 could last 18 months to 2 years.
These model numbers are not exact and just a prediction, but are important as they are used to advise the best measures to take.
Take reassurance that public health measures so far have made a significant impact.
