BROCKVILLE – At Brockville General Hospital (BGH), we are honoured to care for many of the mothers and grandmothers who live in our community. Our staff and physicians work tirelessly to keep all of your loved ones safe.
This is particularly true today, during the COVID-19 pandemic.
Thank you to our staff and physicians who are always looking for ways to show extra compassion and kindness to our patients and clients during this difficult time. At BGH, we want to help you connect with your loved ones on Mother’s Day, while maintaining visitor restrictions.
BGH will accept gifts for all inpatients, not only mothers, at our Charles Street and Garden Street site on Sunday, May 10 from 8am to 4pm only. The following items will be accepted for delivery and can be dropped off at either of our main entrances:
- New or freshly laundered clothes
- Commercially packaged treats, like chocolates or candy
- Non-scented plants and flowers
- Other gifts that can be easily wiped down
To ensure the safety of our patients, all gifts will be disinfected before being delivered to the inpatient units. Please have the recipient’s name clearly identified on the package (a form has been included for you to print, fill in and securely attach).
Please remember to maintain appropriate physical distance when delivering your parcel at the main entrance.
From all the staff and physicians at BGH, we wish all the mothers, grandmothers and mother-figures in our community a safe, happy and healthy Mother’s Day!
