Prescott – Fort Wellington National Historic Site is hosting three live theatre performances, ‘In Time 1812’, (tonight) Thursday night, Friday night and Saturday night.

In this interactive and clue-based theatre, presented by ‘LiveHistory’, guests will experience and learn about Canadian history with the fresh twist of an escape room style production. The War of 1812 is raging on, and the audience is part of a secret task team, entrusted with saving the town of Prescott. General Brock and his protégé, Lt. Col Macdonell, arrive at Fort Wellington to scout the area for a potential attack. It quickly becomes apparent that there are a few people in the group who are not as they appear. Lives are at stake and the course of history could be changed.

Performances will take place tonight, July 19th, Friday, July 20th and Saturday, July 21st, starting at 7:00 p.m. Each show is distinct and will provide a different adventure for audiences.

LiveHistory is a world-renowned historical theatre group that immerses the audience into the production for a truly unique experience. The action moves throughout Fort Wellington, using the historic buildings and artifacts to bring the past to life. Help the heroes of the War of 1812 win the battle and triumph in this fact-driven fictional production.
