LEEDS – Members of the Leeds County Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) are continuing an investigation into a collision that sent one man to hospital.
On June 4, 2019 at about 8:40 a.m. OPP officers responded to a three vehicle collision on County Road 2, slightly East of Lyn Road. A Jeep Cherokee was Eastbound on County Road 2 when it struck a Ford Escape in front, pushing it forward in to a parked vehicle on the shoulder. All three vehicles ended up in the ditch.
An 81 year old male driver from Lansdowne was transported to the hospital by ambulance in serious condition. There were no injuries to the other drivers or occupants.
A portion of County Road 2 remained closed in both directions until just after 10:00 a.m. for the investigation. Brockville Police Service assisted OPP with the road closure.
