The Railway Museum will also be showcasing our new exhibit: Lost Stations of Eastern Ontario.
This exciting new exhibition details the fated history of the railways and their stations in Eastern Ontario as well as the important role that these stations played in the surrounding communities. Like many communities along the line, the railway was an integral part of life. Today much of what remains of the fated railway lines are of the lonely stations peeking out the overgrown rural countryside.
We invite you to come out to the museum on the May long weekend for some family fun!
Beginning May 21 st , the museum will be open daily from 10 am to 5 pm.
The Railway Museum of Eastern Ontario is located at 90 William St. West, Smiths Falls.
