Perth – A public meeting is being held in accordance with the Ontario Heritage Act to discuss the proposed amendments to Heritage Conservation District on Wednesday, January 24th, beginning at 5:15 p.m. at the Perth Town Hall located at 80 Gore St. E.
The proposed amendments to the Heritage Conservation District By-law for discussion:
1. UPDATE BY-LAW 4721 BY REMOVING THE LAST BULLET POINT IN SECTION 5.6.1 LISTING WHEN HERITAGE PERMITS ARE REQUIRED;
2. UPDATE BY-LAW 4721 BY ADDING “PAINTING OF WOODEN FAÇADE FEATURES” TO THE SECTION 5.6.1 LISTING WHEN HERITAGE PERMITS ARE NOT REQUIRED, AND;
3. UPDATE BY-LAW 4721 BY ADDING “IT IS RECOMMENDED THAT” TO THE START OF THE SECOND PARAGRAPH IN SECTION 8.10.3:
ANY PERSON may attend the Public Meeting and/or make written or oral representation with respect to the proposed change.
