LANARK COUNTY – Between Monday March 25, 2019 and Monday April 1, 2019 officers from the Lanark County Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to 370 calls for service.

Parking Lots: 4
Single Motor Vehicle off Road (“in ditch”): 5
On March 26, 2019 Wesley HOLMES, 41 years of age, of Smiths Falls was charged with operation while impaired as a result of a traffic stop on Gore Street in the Town of Perth. HOLMES was released on a promise to appear and is scheduled to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice in Perth on April 30, 2019
The Lanark County OPP investigated 10 non-criminal domestic occurrences
On the night of March 30, 2019 cash totalling $1050 was taken from a cash box at the Almonte arena during a charity fundraising event. Anyone who may have information in relation to this incident is asked to contact the Lanark County OPP or Crimestoppers.
Officers from the Lanark County OPP detachment have investigated 10 reports of theft in the past week
Lanark County OPP officers investigated five mischief incidents.
