Brockville – Homeward Bound Brockville recived a $1,000 donation from the Rotary Club of Brockville and Rotary Club of the 1000 Islands on Thursday, September 21st at the Employment & Education Centre (EEC).
The funds will be used to help Homeward Bound Brockville participants attend post-secondary education. The money was raised at different Rotary events throughout the year, including their golf tournament, gala and Lobsterfest.
Funded by the Ontario Trillium Foundation Homeward Bound is an EEC program which assists single mothers with improving employ-ability skills and accessing post-secondary education.
Homeward Bound thanks the Brockville Rotary Clubs for helping them to create pathways to opportunity.
