Brockville – The Brockville Flying Club held their annual Fly-In Breakfast this past Sunday at the Brockville-1000 Islands Regional Tackaberry Airport.
Close to 400 breakfasts were served, with close to 500 coming out to see the planes. Close to 40 aircraft made a stop at the airport on Sunday.
Kouri’s Kopters were offering helicopter rides during the event, there wa a free tour of the airport and planes and displays by the Elizabethtown-Kitley firefighters and the 870 Vampire Squadron – Brockville cadets.
The money raised on Sunday will go to support the cost of operating the flying club. As well, the flying club supports bursaries at the local high schools and they support the 870 Vampire Squadron – Brockville cadets.
