Outstanding Arrest Warrant:
On October 16, 2020 officers located a 24-year-old female from Gananoque wanted on an outstanding arrest warrant for breaching several of her conditions of release from previous charges. The female was bound by three separate release orders with several conditions. Her previous charges were related to assaults, mischief, harassment, and previous incidents of failing to comply. All charges had occurred over a 6-week period. The female was held in custody pending a bail hearing.
On October 16, 2020 Gananoque Police Service responded to a domestic between a male and female. A subsequent investigation resulted in officers forming reasonable grounds that an assault causing minor injuries had occurred within the residence. As a result, a 34-year-old male from Gananoque was located and arrested for assault. He is scheduled to appear in court at a later date.
On October 17, 2020 officers while on routine patrol observed a male with an outstanding warrant for breaching his release conditions at an earlier date. The male had been charged two weeks previous for drug related offences and released from custody with conditions. Officers observed the male breaching his curfew condition and he was subsequently arrested. Upon search of the male, officers located 22 grams of crystal methamphetamine packaged for individual sale, a quantity of purple fentanyl, and morphine pills. The male was also in possession of a large quantity of Canadian currency. The 41-year-old male from Gananoque was charged with several drug related and breach related offences and held in custody pending a bail hearing.
