Former Brockville resident Betty Parsons Cunningham pens Out of Mirror Lake

Brockville – Out of Mirror Lake, written by novelist Betty Parsons Cunningham is set in the Eastern Townships, Quebec with Maggie Blake and Abby Harper having an interest in the birth of two baby girls, born on the same day.

As this tale unfolds, a curious, meddling 79-year old retired colonel become entangled in these women's lives, causing the truth to emerge inflicting heartache, recalling dramatic memories and challenging the question why?

It started with an envelope, postmarked 1976, found while renovating the old Honeymoon Cabin; to be used as a hunting lodge.

On Saturday, March 25, Cunningham is the featured Meet the Author (BookMarks), hosted by the Friends of the Brockville Public Library at 2 p.m., upstairs at the Library, 23 Buell Street, Brockville.

This event is free to the public and this novel will be on sale for the entire month of March at the Library.
