Mallorytown – The start of the 2018 winter series of Mallorytown Talks sponsored by the Mallory Coach House Committee and the 1000 Islands River Heritage Committee. is being held Sunday, January 28th at 2:00 PM at the Mallorytown Community Centre.
Join Kathleen Burtch for the Gilded Era of Tourism in the 1000 Islands, a presentation on life in the slow lane on the Canadian Side of the St. Lawrence before the scenic parkway and Hwy 401. Kathleen, for many years a naturalist and historian at Thousand Islands National Park, edited “Life on the Edge” The Cultural Landscape of the Thousand islands Area and continues to enjoy presenting the story of the Thousand Islands.
It is being held Sunday, January 28th starting at 2:00pm at the Mallorytown Community Centre 76 County Rd. 5, Mallorytown.
Refreshments to follow, suggested Donation-$5.
