Tincap – Noted salamander and snake conservation expert Matt Ellerbeck will be hosting a special presentation on snakes to learn how to share the ecosystem with these often misunderstood, but important creatures.
This special free CRCA event takes place this Saturday, May 26, at 2 p.m., at the Mac Johnson Wildlife Area in the Nature Centre. Come see live species, both local and those from more exotic locales. Learn how to avoid snakebites and where rattlesnakes are really found. All ages are welcome.
To get to the Mac Johnson Wildlife Area, take Highway 29 north from Brockville to Tincap, turn east on Debruge Road and drive for two kilometres to the main entrance.
