Brockville – Due to the COVID-19/Coronavirus pandemic, the City of Brockville Legacy Fund process was put on hold temporarily. We are happy to re-launch this process as of today.
The Legacy Fund was established in 2009 with an allocation of $200,000 from the City of Brockville into a fund under the management of the Brockville Community Foundation. Annual earnings from the invested funds, less a 2% management fee, are distributed in Brockville to organizations who apply for funding of recreational and cultural capital projects.
The Legacy Fund Committee consists of two members of Council: Councillor Leigh Bursey, Councillor Nathalie Lavergne and the past two Brockville & District Chamber of Commerce Citizens of the Year.
There is approximately $8,000 in funding available for distribution this year. Application forms are available on our website at https://brockville.com/legacy or here: http://www.hometowntv12.ca/wp-content/uploads/2020/05/2020-Legacy-Fund-Application-Due-June-30.pdf
The deadline for submission of applications is Friday, June 30, 2020 at 4:00 pm.
Due to current COVID-19 restrictions, applications may be dropped off at City Hall (Locked drop off box outside of City Hall 1 King St. just to the left of the main entrance doors). Please address application envelope: “2020 Legacy Fund – Attn: Stephanie Dunbar” or emailed to: email@example.com
