Canada Day 150 Festivities Being Held in North Grenville

North Grenville – 2017 marks Canada’s sesquicentennial, and here in North Grenville we plan to make this 150th birthday a party to remember!

Again this year, the community will have the opportunity to celebrate with family, friends and neighbours in one of two locations – Riverside Park (Kemptville) and Maplewood Park (Oxford Mills). The Municipality of North Grenville will host a community fireworks display at dusk in Riverside Park.

The Canada Day parade will depart from Campus Drive at the Kemptville Campus at 4:00 pm on July 1st and make its way up Prescott Street, then left on Clothier Street West and disperse in the Holy Cross Church parking lot (Click here to see map: There will be bands and dignitaries as well as awards recognizing honourees and prize winning floats.

Riverside Park:

8am-10am Breakfast at the Royal Canadian Legion ($5 per person)
10:30am Flag Raising Ceremony hosted by the Royal Canadian Legion
