The breakdown of funds raised in 2017 are:
Canadian Tire Rotary Golf Tournament – $142,541.44
Home Hardware Rotary Gala – $26,055.83
Rotary Christmas Cakes – $2,591.20
Rotary Lobsterfest – $16,125.77
Habitat for Humanity BBq – $122.00
Porter Foundation for Gyuana – $2,500.00
Vanier School Rotary Day – $240.02
Walk a Mile in Her Shoes – $775.00
Donation from Burns McDonald Trust – $5,000.00
Individual Donations – $1,951.00
Rotary Club’s Change Over Dinner – $730.00
These funds were distributed to the following projects:
$51,088.31 for Youth Services – Camp Merrywood, Jumpstart, YMCA, Easter Seals, Beach Fest, Rotary Soccer Team, Making Play Possible.
$11,300.00 for International Projects – Canaidan Aid to Chernobyl, Guyana Scholarship Fund, Shelterboxes.
$6,615.20.00 donation to the Rotary Foundation for Polio Plus and other programs through the foundation.
$103,739.00 for Community Projects- Aquatarium, Brockville Foodbank, Connections Program, Loaves and Fishes, Brockville Museum and many more!
