Police Seek Public Help in Locating Suspect in Theft from Brockville Public Library

Brockville – Yesterday afternoon Brockville police were contacted by staff at the Public Library on Buell Street who was reporting a theft of cash donation boxes from both the upstairs and downstairs customer service desks.

On arrival staff at the library had reviewed the surveillance video of one suspect taking a box at 9:15 a.m. Monday, January 15th.

The Brockville Police are requesting the public’s assistance in identifying this man. Anyone with information is asked to contact the investigating officer Constable Dan Hall at 613-342-0127 ext. 6090 or dhall@brockvillepolice.com. Or submit a tip anonymously by contacting Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477 (TIPS) or online at www.tipsubmit.com/start.htm  and be eligible for a cash reward of up to $2000.
