Brockville – The MS Society of Leeds and Grenville is looking for for volunteers to help support their Carnation Campaign this year.
This chapter of the society is few remaining chapters in Canada that still sells Carnations for Mother’s Day weekend, a fact they are quite proud of. The Carnation Campaign has been one of the organizations top campaigns for fundraising and awareness for over 30 years.
The carnation is a symbol of hope for those living with MS and with the support of their community they will be able to keep that symbol alive for years to come for Leeds and Grenville.
The team would love to keep this long-standing tradition going, but without additional volunteers for the coming season, this will prove to be a difficult task.
If you have 2-3 hours per month starting in March that you could spare to be on a committee to help plan and organize this very meaningful campaign your help would be greatly appreciated.
In addition to helping with planning we are seeking volunteers to help with flower deliveries and sorting and organizing flowers on the Wednesday before Mother’s day.
To help on this committee or to help with flower sorting and deliveries please contact us at 613-342-6396 or at email@example.com
