Brockville – It’s that time of year again! “Kitsch & Collectables“, the Friends of the Brockville Museum’s annual silent auction will be held at the Brockville Museum on October 13 & 14. This successful fundraiser continues to be one of our most anticipated and most enjoyable events of the year.
Every year is different so you never know what you may find. With a wide and varied selection of antiques, collectibles, memorabilia or even a bit of kitsch there is always a great selection of items to bid on.
For those wishing to donate any items of local interest, or something old or retro we would be most grateful! To give us time to get organized, please drop items off at the museum no later than 4:00 p.m., Friday, October 6th.
If you are “on the hunt”, the auction will run on Friday from 1 p.m. – 4 p.m. and on Saturday from 10 a.m. – 2 p.m., at which time the bidding will close. Tallying the bids only takes a few minutes so successful bidders are welcome to join us for coffee while we retrieve your lots.
The silent auction has always been an excellent fundraiser! The Friends of the Brockville Museum appreciates the continuing generosity and support that our local community has shown as well as the many hours of work our volunteers put into organizing this major event.
