Rick Trapp’s 2017 Kayaking Adventure paddling nets $13,470 for Brockville General Hospital’s (BGH) Cardiovascular Program

Brockville – For the last four years, Rick Trapp, with his buddies Gary Running and Doug Cartan, have paddled the Rideau System and the Trent Severn Waterway, in support of BGH’s Brockville Cardiovascular Program, which receives no government funding.

Rick experienced this local rehabilitation service in 2013, having had a heart attack requiring triple bi-pass surgery. Soon after, in 2014, with encouragement from his friends, Rick started kayaking with a vision of raising much needed funds for the program. Through his continued commitment, Rick will plan another watercourse next year.
