Kingston – The Cataraqui Region Conservation Authority (CRCA) has issued a Watershed Conditions Statement – Water Safety today for Buells/Butlers Creek and the detention basin in Brockville
Spring time operations have been performed to minimize the effects of an anticipated 45 – 55 mm of rain over the next three days. Residents are urged to stay away from the detention basin and the Buells/Butlers Creek due to high water levels and flows.
CRCA staff will continue to monitor conditions, forecasts, and update statements as needed.
Widespread flooding is NOT expected as a result of current conditions.
This Watershed Conditions Statement will remain in effect until Wednesday May 10, 2017.
