BROCKVILLE – Steve Clark, Ontario PC candidate for Leeds-Grenville-Thousand Islands and Rideau Lakes, will officially open his Brockville campaign headquarters on Saturday, May 12 with a free barbecue.
The event will take place from 1-3 p.m. at Clark’s headquarters located at 2117 Parkedale Ave.
“There’s tremendous excitement here in the riding and across Ontario for our message of bringing relief to families and making Ontario a place that’s open for business again,” said Clark, the incumbent candidate seeking his fourth term as MPP. “After 15 years of this Liberal government’s scandal, mismanagement and waste, families are working harder than ever and still falling behind. But our plan For the People will make life more affordable and respect their hard-earned tax dollars.”
Clark said the Ontario PC plan under Leader Doug Ford has five priorities:
- Cleaning up the hydro mess and providing 12% off electricity costs.
- Putting more money back into taxpayers’ pockets.
- Restoring responsibility, accountability, and trust to government.
- Bringing jobs back to Ontario.
- Putting an end to hallway health care.
Clark has served the riding as MPP since 2010, but the incumbent is taking nothing for granted in the campaign leading up to election day on June 7.
“I’m proud of my record of working hard and getting results for the people of Leeds-Grenville-Thousand Islands and Rideau Lakes,” said Clark. “I’ll be taking my record of standing up for the riding to thousands of doorsteps before June 7.”
