Brockville – In the 24 hour period from March 5th 5:00 a.m. to March 6th 5:00 a.m. members of the Brockville Police Service responded to 46 calls for service including 2 sexual assaults (no details will be disclosed), 2 break and enters, 3 collisions and 2 mental health apprehensions.
The 37 year old male that was charged yesterday for a theft incident at the Circle K on King St. West, returned to the store contrary to his release conditions. This male was located today at 10:30 a.m. and arrested for failing to comply with his officer in charge undertaking. A search incident to arrest revealed a quantity of methamphetamine. He now is facing charges of failing to comply with an officer in charge undertaking and possession of a controlled substance.
A 34 year old male reported to the police service yesterday for his scheduled fingerprint date as per a previous release condition. Since the time of the offence and his fingerprint date a warrant was issued for failing to attend court for a breach of probation charge. The male was arrested and released with a future court date.
On March 5th, 2019 at 11:00 p.m. officers responded to Walmart for a suspicious person. Officers located the subject, a 36 year old female, which was on “house arrest”. The female was arrested for breaching her conditional sentence and held in custody pending a bail hearing.
