Brockville Police Celebrate Police Week in Ontario May 13th – 19th

Brockville – This year, Police Week in Ontario will take place from May 13 to 19. The theme for this year’s campaign is Celebrating Policing and Community Partnerships.

Some events that will be taking place this week:

Tuesday May 15 from 3:00-5:30PM

Brockville Police Stingers After School Program

  • An after school drop in program for youth in grades 7-12 where they can be positively engaged in a variety of fitness, recreation and creative activities as well as a healthy snack plus homework help, in a safe, inclusive and adult supported environment
  • We have started a partnership with Mini Donut Express where we will be selling there mini donuts at events this summer. The proceeds will be going to fund our Brockville Police Youth Programs! We will be serving free donuts to all the youth!
  • All State Insurance will be presenting a Cheque at 3:30pm.
  • The Gananoque Police Service and Prescott OPP will be attending with a school bus of kids from there area to celebrate police week.

Wednesday May 16 from 4:00-6:00pm

Bartholomew Community Hub

  • 280 Bartholomew St. Unit 10
  • We are having an anniversary party and Open house to celebrate the Bartholomew Community Hub.
  • Located in a town home unit of the Bartholomew Street Community Housing neighborhood, we offer a warm, welcoming and positive environment for anyone to access supports and services as well as programs for children, youth and adults.

Thursday May 17 from 6:00-9:00pm

Brockville Police Auction

  • Memorial Centre
  • Hands Auction will be assisting in auctioning off bikes and various property.
  • Viewing will start at 6:00pm.
  • Auction will start at 7:00pm.

Friday May 18 from 9:00-11:00am

Connections Open House

  • 117 Windsor Dr. at the Bethel Christian Reformed Church
  • We are excited to be able to use this opportunity to share an important announcement and showcase what we do at Connections to support disengaged youth from the communities of Lanark, Leeds and Grenville.
  • This is an open house and all our welcome to learn more about our program.
