Brockville – The Hospitality Career Catalyst Program hosted by the Employment & Education Centre (EEC) wrapped up its second edition last week with the nine more participants graduating.
Graduating in this edition were: Melissa Cross, Melissa McInrue, Melissa Marshall, Ashley Edwards, Glen Laviolette, Natalie Thompson, Danielle Charette, Marnie Slack, and Todd Inglis
The 6 week program, 2 week placement saw 9 certificates given out for WHMIS, Service Excellence, Smart Serve, Food Safety, emerit Workplace Essentials plus overall completion certificate.
The program featured onsite training at area hotels, restaurants and B&B’s along with employment coach support; resume prep, and job skill enhancement.
The Career Catalyst program prepares participants for employment and set them on a career building path in the growing and exciting hospitality and tourism industry.
They gain the essential skills and obtain certifications to not only enter the field, but to grow their career!
