Brockville Rotary’s Annual Lobsterfest Being Held May 31st at Brockville Legion

Brockville – Join both Rotary Clubs of Brockville is they host their annual Lobsterfest on Friday, May 31st this time being held at the Brockville Legion on Park Street.

There will be two sittings, one at at 5:30 and one at 7:15 pm, in the upper hall of the legion. Same great food and service, good cheer, alcohol bar, background music, two sittings (5:30 & 7:15), table reservations, pickup and delivery (in city).

They will be serving seafood chowder, one Fresh Snapping Maritime Lobster with butter, bun, coleslaw, potato salad, fruit pie, tea & coffee all for a $50 ticket. Chicken dinner will be offered as an alternate.

The choice is yours, pick-up your Lobster dinner on the way to the cottage, let them deliver Lobster dinners to your house party (city limits) or join them at the Legion for a Lobster Meal enjoyed with your friends and family. Please select at time of purchase. Self-Pickup is at the lower north entrance starting at 4:30 pm.

There will also be Maritime Music by Tom Watson who will be playing “quiet/background” music at 6pm and at 7:30 pm during the first and second sittings and afterwards liven things up for the party.

Rotary Brockville has an excellent reputation in the community and has supported numerous local initiatives and organizations. Some have been mentioned on the back of the previous years’ tickets such as School Scholarships, Easter Seal Camp Merrywood, YMCA Summer Camp, Operation Smile, Polio Eradication, Canadian Aid for Chernobyl, Shelter Boxes, Renovation of the Children’s Library. Others not listed have been Special Olympics, numerous Rotary Youth programs, EarlyAct, InterAct, RotorAct, Jumpstart, Making Play Possible, Easter Egg Hunt, Beachfest, Santa Clause Parade, Books for Libraries, Dictionaries for Life, Guyana Scholarships and Guatemala Literacy. Some of our larger initiatives have been the revitalization of the Rotary Park, including the splash pad, washrooms, pump track, refrigerated ice and roof over the ice pad, the Aquatarium, the Train Tunnel and in the future the Rotary Field House at Laurier Park.
