Brockville – Police reports from the Brockville Police Service from October 28th/29th, 2017.
A 38 year old Brockville man was arrested early Saturday morning for being in care and control of a motor vehicle while impaired by drug.
Police received a call of a suspicious vehicle on Central Avenue and attended to investigate. In speaking with the occupant of the vehicle, officers were of the opinion he was impaired by drug and as a result, placed him under arrest.
The man was further found to be in possession of a quantity of non-medically prescribed drugs and was also breaching his Court ordered conditions.
He has been held in custody pending a Bail Hearing.
A 23 year old Brockville man was arrested early Sunday morning for being intoxicated in a public place contrary to the Liquor License Act.
Shortly after 1 am, police were flagged down by a taxi driver as the male was heavily intoxicated, causing problems within the taxi. The man was taken into police custody and later released, when sober.
Police are seeking the Public’s assistance in locating a stolen boat and trailer.
Between the 17th of October and the 26th of October 2017 a 1991 sixteen foot Lund boat and its trailer were removed from the Brockville Yacht Club.
The boat is described as being red in color with registration number – 6E5656. A 2015, 25 horsepower Mercury motor was mounted on the back. The trailer is described as being homemade, with Ontario Licence Plate number – V51663. It is white in color.
