Dog on Roof:
On June 7, 2018 at 10:40 pm our service received a call of a black Labrador retriever being stuck on a roof on King St. The call was transferred to the Brockville Fire Department due the fact that we thought it would be similar to a cat stuck in a tree and they would be the subject experts on the matter. They did attend, but were initially unsuccessful in rescuing the dog as it kept running away from the firefighters. Officers were then dispatched to assist our fellow first responders. The owners of the dog attended and retrieved the dog prior to our arrival. The dog had access to the roof via an open apartment window.
