Brockville – Police reports from the Brockville Police Service from January 21st and 22nd, 2021.
On January 21st at 3:15 PM officers responded to a downtown residence in response to a neighbour dispute over the noise of a dog. The dispute had escalated to an assault when a 36 year old female struck the victim in the face. She was arrested and charged with the assault.
She will appear in court at a later date to answer to the charge.
On January 22, 2021 at 1:52 AM officers on routine patrol stopped a vehicle traveling on Hubbell Street. The officer detected an odour of an alcoholic beverage on the breath of the driver and made a roadside demand for a breath test. The 36 year old female driver was arrested for driving with more than double the legal limit of alcohol in her system.
Her vehicle was impounded and her driver’s licence has been suspended to 90 days. She will appear in court at a later date to answer to the charge where upon conviction she could another suspension of driving privileges for a year.
