Arrest in Domestic Incident:
A 35 year old Brockville man is scheduled to appear in bail court today after police were notified of a domestic dispute which had taken place earlier in the day at a residence in central Brockville.
While interviewing the female victim, investigators also learned of a previous domestic assault which had occurred on Monday at the couple's residence. At the time of both incidents the male was currently serving a Community Sentence Order for previous offences.
Shortly after 4:30 pm the 35 year old man was located and placed under arrest in relation to the domestic incidents. He is now facing charges of 2 counts of assault, forcible confinement and breach of his conditional sentence order. The victim is in good physical condition and did not require medical attention.
The Brockville Police are seeking the public's assistance with regards to a break and enter investigation reported yesterday.
Officers attended to a residence in the area of Toniata School where a shed was broken into and a number of items taken including a racing bicycle (photo attached).
