Arrest in Domestic Incident:

A 35 year old Brockville man is scheduled to appear in bail court today after police were notified of a domestic dispute which had taken place earlier in the day at a residence in central Brockville.

While interviewing the female victim, investigators also learned of a previous domestic assault which had occurred on Monday at the couple's residence. At the time of both incidents the male was currently serving a Community Sentence Order for previous offences.

Shortly after 4:30 pm the 35 year old man was located and placed under arrest in relation to the domestic incidents. He is now facing charges of 2 counts of assault, forcible confinement and breach of his conditional sentence order. The victim is in good physical condition and did not require medical attention.

Stolen Bicycle:

The Brockville Police are seeking the public's assistance with regards to a break and enter investigation reported yesterday.

Officers attended to a residence in the area of Toniata School where a shed was broken into and a number of items taken including a racing bicycle (photo attached).
