Daytime high temperatures in excess of 30 degrees Celsius, with humidex values in the high thirties to low forties, are expected. Overnight lows near 20 degrees Celsius are also expected through this period, providing little relief from the heat. A slightly cooler airmass may move into the area this weekend, however there is considerable uncertainty. A few areas towards eastern Ontario are likely to experience extreme heat and high humidex values on Saturday as well………………………………………………..

Brockville Police Asking for Assistance in Identifying Suspect

Brockville – Brockville Police are seeking the public’s assistance in identifying a suspect from a theft which occurred overnight on October 3rd-4th between 10 p.m. and 8 a.m.

The victim had parked his vehicle near his house on Pearl Street and when he returned to his vehicle in the morning noticed his coat containing his wallet and phone was missing and contacted police.

The victim was advised that there had been activity on his banking cards and advised investigators who were able to obtain surveillance photos of the suspect. (Photo’s attached)
