Brockville General Hospital Staff Need The Community to be Their Cheerleaders

Brockville – The past few weeks have been increasingly challenging at Brockville General Hospital as we brace for the impact of COVID-19. Staff and physicians from across the organization have stepped up and leaned into the challenge. Their professionalism has been unwavering.

But we can’t do it alone. We need our community to be our cheerleaders.

Our staff and physicians are your friends, family members and neighbours. We need your strength to help us meet the complex challenges that we are facing each and every day.

Please share your words of support and encouragement in a short video recording.

  • Videos should be a maximum of 30 seconds.
  • By submitting a video, you give your consent to BGH to share the video on our websites and social media channels.

Our friends and partners at the Brockville and District Hospital Foundation are also supporting staff and physicians through a COVID-19 Emergency Fund. Your donations will be matched by the Foundation and put toward urgent priorities to help patients, staff and physicians directly affected by the COVID-19 crisis. The intention of this fund is to provide resources for frontline workers, purchasing equipment and supplies and contributing to the care and comfort of patients.

On behalf of BGH’s staff and physicians, thank you for your support and encouragement. We promise to do our very best to keep you and your loved ones safe during the COVID-19 crisis.

Sincerely,

Nick Vlacholias, President and CEO, Brockville General Hospital

Joan Simon, Executive Director, Brockville & District Hospital Foundation
